Sign-up for the tourney starts at 7pm, official tournament play starts at 8, and we don’t stop until there is only one RPS Champion left standing! Referees will be on site all night to make sure the action is fair.

Several Seattle Gaels braved the icy roads, cold winds and snowy field for a Sunday Gaelic Football kick around. Remember to check the calendar, and join the Gaels most Sundays during the winter months for a couple of hours of Gaelic sports.

For the first time in Gaels history, Seattle fielded a camogie team – all proudly wearing the green, white and red. The ladies played incredibly well all weekend – including three games in a single day. An amazing performance by an amazing group of athletes.

The ladies Gaelic football team was there and fought hard throughout the tournament. They took on tough clubs and played with heart and spirit. Well done across the board.

In hurling, the JRC team left it all on the field – with amazing, determined play by all our veterans, and our rookie players. Well done, lads!

And finally, the JRB team, for the second consecutive year, came home with the 2011 JRB Hurling Shield. Big, physical games throughout the weekend and some of the best hurling you could have hoped to see.

The Gaels will be fielding four great teams this year – two hurling squads, camogie and ladies Gaelic football.

It has been a terrific season,  and the green, red and white should be well represented by all four teams.

The Seattle Gaels are pleased to announce their annual auction fundraiser for Thursday, August 18th at The Scarlet Tree Restaurant and Bar. The event features live and silent auctions, food, beverage specials, and raffle giveaways. The evening will begin at 6:30pm; tickets are $9 in advance or $12 at the door, and can be purchased from any Seattle Gaels player or reserved via email.
