It’s that time again!

Whether you’re brand new to Gaelic sports and looking for a new challenge or grew up with a hurley in your hand, we want to see you on March 21st at Magnuson Park for the Seattle Gaels annual Open Field Day! The Gaels field teams in Hurling, Camogie, Men’s & Women’s Gaelic Football. All ages and skill levels welcome!

Hurling / Camogie /Women’s Gaelic Football / Men’s Gaelic Football

Veteran Gaels will be on hand for instruction. Free and open to the public. We’ll be located on the lower grass fields next to the tennis center.

Noon – 12:30pm: Check-in/Warm up
12:30pm – 1:00pm: Skills orientation (Ladies Gaelic Football, Hurling, & Youth)
1:00pm – 1:30pm: Skills orientation (Camogie & Men’s Gaelic Football)
1:40pm – 2:00pm: Live Demonstration: Camogie
2:00pm – 2:20pm: Live Demonstration: Hurling
2:20pm – 2:40pm: Live Demonstration: Ladies Gaelic Football
2:40pm – 3:00pm: Live Demonstration: Men’s Gaelic Football
3:30 – A Bit of Craic @ St. Andrews Bar & Grill (Seattle Gaels club sponsor)

New players will be invited to join the live demonstrations after a short intro by veteran players.

We recommend athletic clothing and cleats, but come however you feel comfortable! We’ll provide any necessary equipment.

We have insurance waivers for everyone to sign before we start. Minors, please bring a parent or guardian to sign for you!
